Joanne L. Halverson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne L. Halverson (Ferryville, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Peterson and Helen Peterson (Hutson); her husband Everett Halverson; and her daughter Julie Louise. She is survived by: her children, Joan and Jeff Halverson of LaCrosse; her grandsons, Eric Knutson-Ferryville (Lisa), Joshua Knutson-Genoa (Betsy) and Kristopher Halverson-LaCrosse; her great grandchildren, Dylan Knutson-Westby (Sierra), Kaden and Braxton-Genoa; her siblings, James Peterson (Beatrice), Anita Hansen, Dorothy Fortney, Marilyn Kleppe, Gordon Peterson, Cheryl Olson (Carl) and Randy Peterson (Janelle); her siblings-in-law, Donald Hanson and Leota Olson; her siblings, Ronald Peterson (Norma), John Peterson, Lorraine Hanson and Roger Hansen; and her sister-in-law Ruth Erickson (Bernard). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Utica Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
