He is survived by: his former wife Elaine Sveum; his wife Marcia Kratochwill; his children, James "Charlie" Bahl (Mary Ann) of Tacoma, WA, Vicki Dresen of Fennimore, WI, Bonnie Waterman (Monte) of Boscobel, WI, Linda Kahl (Randy), Krista Kreul (Brian) and Kari Kratochwill (Christopher) of Hales Corners, WI; his grandsons, Michael Bahl (Jenny) and Nathan Bahl; and his children, Jennifer Dresen, Walt Dresen (Mary), Joseph Dresen (Erin), Jake LaFoe, Matt Waterman (Rachelle), Tyler Kahl, Mitchell Kahl (Kristin), Courtney Westburg (Paul), Derek Kreul and Kayla Kreul. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
