He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Nancy Ashmore (Peter Barnard), Tim Ashmore (Jan Underwood), Stuart Ashmore (Peggy Schoettle), Steven Ashmore, Diane Ashmore, Greg Ashmore (Teresa) and Lorinda Baus (Tim); his grandchildren, Brittany Melichar (Wade), Chelsea Fuerstenberg (AJ), Martin Barnard, Ryan Ashmore, Brandon Ashmore, Forrest Ashmore and Mason Ashmore; and his great grandchildren, Amelia and Mathias Melichar Due.
