She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Washa and Emma Washa (Petra); her husband Aelred Klaas; her son Joseph Klaas; her grandsons, Donald, Allen Klaas and Craig LaMere; her daughter-in-law Jane Klaas; and her close friend Vernon Kjos.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Klaas of Madison, Donna Bukoski (Bob) of Boise, ID, Sandy LaMere (Jim) of Lancaster, Mark Klaas (Therese) of Lancaster, Debra Russell (Dee) of East Dubuque, IL, Janet Winkler (Ron) of Deforest, Michelle Moore of Boscobel and Steve Klaas of Lancaster; her daughter-in-law Helen Klaas of Livingston; her sister Irene Williams of Madison, WI; and also Patti Sikhart of Appleton. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
