He is survived by: his former wife Lorraine Kitelinger; his sister Betty Dickins of Boscobel; his wife Sherry Freymiller of Fennimore; his stepdaughters, Rhonda Ackerman of Altoona and Reyne Larsen (Paul) of Sparta; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Reed, Rand Ackerman, Natalie, Erik and Holly Larsen; and his friend Amy Maag (family: Ashley, Amber, Angie, Ariana). He is also survived by six step great grandchildren.
