She was predeceased by: her parents, Hirohisa Hisamatsu and Taka Hisamatsu (Harada); her husband Kenneth R. McLain; her stepson Ronald McLain; her son-in-law Joseph VanRemoortere; and her brothers, Hiroshige, Akihisa and Yasumitsu Hisamatsu.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Barbeau (Jim) of Green Bay, Lavone VanRemoortere of Aurora and Robert McLain of Homestead; her granddaughters, Shawna Lindow (Jeff) and Joy Glatczak (Andy); and her siblings, Kenzo Hisamatsu (Yasuko), Takahisa Hisamatsu (Kuniko), Mitsue McGee, Terumi Calloway, Yoshiko Yasuda and Keiko Masterson (Theophile). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
