She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Hamilton and Myrtle Hamilton (Krehnke); and her brother Ronald. She is survived by: her husband Alvin L. Briggs; her children, Ralph Briggs (Mary) and Nancy Briggs; and her grandchildren, Matt Barrette (Virginia), Peter Barrette and Natalie Anderson. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
