He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Althouse and Leona Althouse (Isbell); his siblings, David, James, Philip, Ray, Lyle and Hazel; and his grandson Bryan Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hassall; his children, Benjamin Althouse (Sandra), Candace Kothmann, Lydia Wojciechowski (Wes) and Rebekah Picard (Mark); and his grandchildren, Amanda Steinhilber (Mike), Amber Hoover, Eileen Kleidon, William Picard and Matthew Picard. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
