He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bedward and Norma Bedward (Manson); and his siblings, Bob, Wes, Glenn, Kenneth and Clarice.

He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Craig (Caroline), Angela Bergeron (Charles) and Rachel Minner (Michael); and his siblings, Arden, Dorothy and Mavis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
