She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Finke and Elsie Finke; her friend June Aude; her husband Wilbur; her children, Sheldon "Wally" Walter (Betty) and Karen Strasburg (Fred); her grandchildren, Troy Strasburg (Kim), Chad Strasburg (Shari), Holly Anderson (Matt) and Van Walter (Krista); her great grandchildren, Hailey Perushek (Ben), Madeline, Nate Strasburg, Reid Strasburg, Brady, Addie Anderson, Beck and Finley Walter; and her great great grandchild Ellie Faith Perushek.

“Dear Karen and Wally, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. Your mother was an extraordinary individual. She had a great work ethic, but her best attribute was her caring personality. I loved the picture in the newspaper as it showed that smile of hers. That smile could light up any room, including the kitchen of a drive-in restaurant on highway 53. Bill Heebink”
