He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rasmussen and Margaret Rasmussen (Kolpein); his son James Rasmussen; his great grandchild Tyler Smith; and his siblings, Julius, Chester, Clifford, Jerry and Joanne.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Pagenkopf (Jeff) of Elk Mound, WI, Sheri Sonnentag (Pat) of Lomira, WI, Joyce Rasmussen Berg (Daryl) of Boyd, WI and Andy Rasmussen (Jolene) of Trempealeau, WI; and his siblings, Diane Mazur (Don) of Minnesota, Beverly Wiskerchen of New Auburn, WI, Linda Schick of Eau Claire, Kathy Partlo of Eau Claire, Richard Rasmussen of Chippewa Falls and Donald Rasmussen (Sandy) of Chippewa Falls. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
Leonard James Rasmussen, 83 of Fall Creek, WI, was called to heaven to be with the Lord on December 2, 2020, with family by his side after a long battle with Alzheimer's at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.
