He is survived by: his wife Carla Poortenga; his sons, Jason Poortenga of Fairwater, WI and Jeffry Poortenga of Brandon, WI; his granddaughter Alecia Richter; his brothers, Dave Poortenga (Donna) and Dan Poortenga; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Schultz (Lori), Carolyn Poortenga, Judy Doherty and Bonnie Schultz (Lee). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
