He is survived by: his children, David R. Thompson (Connie) of Ladysmith and Danna R. Holzmer of Radisson; and his siblings, Don Thompson (Faye) of Winter, Paulene Godfrey of Darlington, WI, Loraine Cohoon of Exeland and Mary Parson of Monroe, WA.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
