He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Pendell and Gertrude 'Zebell' Pendell; his wife Yvonne Tait; and his siblings, Charles and Francis Seeman.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey, Robert H. and Timothy Pendell; his grandchildren, Alicia Hookstead (Brian) and Thomas Pendell (Haylee); and his great grandchildren, Tatum, Alexis and Tucker Hookstead.
