He is survived by: his spouse Shirley (Collins); his children, Richard Jr. (Phoebe), Donald (Amy) and Rene Johnson (David); his grandchildren, Andrew (Megan Buck), Emily Schnabel (Travis), Christopher Templeton (Hannah), Nicholas Templeton (Ali), Alyssa Reeson (Levi), William Templeton (Emma), Otis Johnson (Karley Krupp), Malcolm Johnson, Quincee Johnson, Oliver, Elizabeth, Avery, Maxine, Esden and Sloane; his family Rich; his sisters, Jean Chapin (Si) and Jan Trumpy (Mike); his brothers-in-law, Dennis Collins (Becky) and Terry Collins; his friend Pete Anderson; and his sister-in-law Sue Collins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home (130 S 5th St, Evansville, WI 53536). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
