She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Garbrecht; her parents, Helen Koehl and Edward Koehl; and her siblings, Betty Hucke, Donald Koehl and James Koehl.
She is survived by: her children, James Garbrecht (Mary) of Mundelein, Ill, John Garbrecht (Patti) of San Diego, CA, Kathryn Leland (Gregory) of Bricelyn, MN and Carol Mullin (Thomas) of Anoka, MN; her grandchildren, Melissa Pieper (Justin), Robert Garbrecht, Bethany Bureau (Daniel), Kelsey Dundas (Christoph), Michael Leland, Brian Leland and Olivia Garbrecht; her great grandchildren, Logan Garbrecht, Kate, Leah, Isaac Pieper, Adelia, Caleb, Jacob and Emmaline Dundas; and her siblings-in-law, Elmer Garbrecht (Shirley) of Oconto Falls, WI and Carolyn Koehl of Reading, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family, who will then distribute them to Phyllis' favorite charities.
