With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marguerite Violet Knappenberger (Evansville, Wisconsin), born in Orfordville, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 27, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Nordeng and Violet Nordeng (DeVoe); her husband Ralph Knappenberger; her siblings, Evonne Brown and Tony Nordeng; her grandson Trevor Hazlett; and her son Dale.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Hazlett of Wisconsin, Susan Boyette (Bill) of Janesville, Bruce Hazlett of Wisconsin and Julie Shoemaker (Brad) of Evansville; her grandchildren, Jon Hazlett (Jeannie), Kathy Bush (Shawn), Melissa LeHuray (Jason), Donavan Hazlett (Suzzie), Clifton McHenry, Lucas McHenry, Nick Hazlett, Amie Hazlett, Marty Hazlett, Katie Hazlett, Amanda Vingum, Russell Shoemaker (Kelli) and Mike Shoemaker (Miranda); and her sisters, Becki Raby, Judy McKernan and Bonnie Holtze. She is also survived by twenty four great grandchildren.
If ever there was a foundation that kept a family going strong, she was the rock her family was built on.
