With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen S. Schambow (Evansville, Wisconsin), born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Nelson and Irma Nelson (Fett); and her brother Jack Nelson (Suzie). She is survived by: her husband Richard Sr.; her children, Jill VanVeldhuizen (Tom), Richard Jr. Schambow (Judy), Eric Schambow, Marc Schambow (Mary) and David Schambow (Ryan Slot); her grandchildren, Bryan VanVeldhuizen (Allie), Kristen Varian (Bobby), Tom Schambow (Joe Helms), Rachel Schambow (David Kasper), Anna and Luke Schambow; her great grandchildren, Kai and Raya VanVeldhuizen; and her brother Jim Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for a memorial that will be determined later by the family.
