In loving memory of John C Whitmore (Evansville, Wisconsin), born in Janesville, Wisconsin, who departed this world on March 21, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Whitmore and Jane Whitmore; his wife Diane; his in-laws, Remi and Grace Cromheecke; his brother William Whitmore; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Kinast, Sr. and Thomas Cromheecke.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Whitmore (Deb), Cindy Runaas (Jon), Brenda Rohloff (Joe), Dan Whitmore, Jill Whitmore Bradley and Sara Hurley (Steve); and his sister Ann Kinast. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home (130 S 5th St, Evansville, WI 53536). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (8037 US-14, Evansville, WI 53536).
