Hyland and Tommy Thering; his aunts and uncles, Sandy Wendtland (Carl), Cindy Morgan (Dean), Misty Powell (Jeff), Dave Johnson, Ken Johnson, Cindy Wiedenbeck (Dean) and Debbie Westphal (Bruce); his great-aunt Beverly Plein Mudd; his grandchildren, Russell Schultz, Wallace and LaDonna Powell; his uncle David L. Franklin; and his aunts, Cheryl Hope and Michelle Powell Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many longtime friends.
