He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Starks (Abe) and Lorraine Starks (Page); and his brother-in-law Dennis E. Wilson. He is survived by: his siblings, Christine Wilson Trask (David) of Lake Villa, IL, Glenn Starks (Saundra Lynn) of Cooksville, WI and Catherine Lueder (Todd) of Fort Atkinson, WI.; his nieces and nephews, Brook McGettigan (Pat), Justin Sundby, Abigail McComb (Steve), Braden Farnsworth and Samantha Starks (Jake Idk); his great-nieces, Alliyah McComb and Una McGettigan; his great-nephew Brennyn McComb; his aunts, Carolyn Lamb (Ron Pagel) and Ardell Ladd (Mick); his cousin Earl Page; his close friends, Gail Bolen (Lein), Terry Walker, Lynette Wiser and Dave Heming; and his pet Rusty.
