It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Jane Meichtry (Evansville, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Kopke and Elizabeth Kopke (Benash); her husband Tom Meichtry; and her siblings, Evelyn Schachtschneider, Ethel Ambrose, Doris McIntyre, Lucille Spade (Dary), Chester, Merle, Marvin, Elmer, Kenneth and Harold Kopke.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Meichtry, Teresa Briggs and David Meichtry; her grandchildren, Jessica Thompson (Briggs) and Erin Meichtry; her great grandchild Olivia Leigh Thompson; and her sister Edith Christensen.
