She was predeceased by: her parents, Olai Ofsthun and Stina Ofsthun (Ovstetun); her husband Frank Carpenter; her daughter Sharon; and her siblings, Karl, Sherman "Bud", Olivette "Ollie" Olson, Ann "Annie" Erbs, Borghild "Borg" Harried and Anis.
She is survived by: her daughter Frances "Frannie" Carpenter of Evansville; and her sister-in-law Dawn Ofsthun. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
