He was predeceased by: his father Harlan Steindl; his stepmother LaVelle Steindl (Carr); and his brother Harlan Steindl Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter April Steindl; his siblings, Sandra Lindemann-Van Galder, Darrell Steindl, Vicki Oaks (Dan) and Michael Steindl (Michelle) of Madison; his mother Shirley Kalschuer (Fraser); and his siblings, Randal Fraser, Ronald Fraser and Rhonda Fraser. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials to be made to The Family Of Alan Steindl for a scholarship in his name though the Evansville High School to Blackhawk Technical College in the field of Auto Mechanics.
