He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Larson and Helen Larson (Joten); his daughter Marcea; and his sister Rosemary Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Tracy; his sons, Mark and Matt Larson (Jingwen); his grandchildren, Brody, Leander and Leopaul Larson; and his brother Paul Larson (Sandra).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Saint Ansgar's Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
