He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his parents, Alfred Onsrud and Bessie Onsrud; his siblings, Arthur, Edward, Myrt Onsrud and Norma Benrud; and his brothers-in-law, LaVerne Benrud, Phil Schulins, Howard Blankenhorn (Doris) and John Sander.
He is survived by: his children, Auto, Rick and Jolene Bentzen; his grandchildren, Heather Betsinger and Ashley Bentzen (Dannon Kolve); his great grandchildren, Justyne, Karina, Gideon, Aleaya Betsinger, Jaiden and Kiley Kolve; his sister Carole Schulins; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Sander. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
