He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Slama and Elsie Slama (Bulin); his wife Evelyn Mayer; and his sister Berneece Strehlow. He is survived by: his children, Becky Solchenberger, Barbara Slama, Steve Slama (Nancy), Carol Slama and Annette Buchal (Jay); his grandchildren, Billy Solchenberger (Jamie), Dawn Solchenberger, Megan Buchal, Macey Buchal and Blake Buchal; his great grandchildren, Domenick Roloff, Kourtnie Weber, McKynly Solchenberger and Brynly Solchenberger; and his sisters, Irene Popp and Romelle Lukasiewicz.
