He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garvin and Vera Garvin; his sister Rose; and his brother-in-law Tom Kranz (Marjorie). He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Mary Sieben (Harry), Carol Richards (Joe), John Garvin, Michael Garvin (Mika), Thomas Garvin and David Garvin (Jill); his siblings, Jim Garvin (Diane) and Rita Kranz; and his grandchildren, Chris, Rebecca, John, Jeanette, Joseph, Patrick, Andrea and Andrew. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
