Thompson; his children, Daniel (Leah) of Prairie, Sac and Dustin (Casey) of Alma Center; his grandchildren, Vann, Hudson, Carson, Grayson and Pierson Ambort; his siblings, Mary Cook (Ken), Jim Ambort (Patti), Patricia Zingsheim (Jeff), Kay Ambort, Rose Price (Jim), Sid Ambort (Victoria), Mike Ambort and Renee Keip (Leigh); and his parents-in-law, Mary Thompson, Stephen Thompson (Rose), Marciann Wilson (Doug), Mary Jo Klipstein (Denny) and Colleen Green (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
