He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia E. Rollins; his son Jamie Winchel; his daughter-in-law Rita Winchel; his grandson John Clyde Winchel; and his siblings, Marlene Baldwin, Mildred Olsen, Margaret Eckleberg, Marcella Calhoun, Marlyce Revels, John, Ronald and Richard Winchel.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Winchel (Melody) of Hillsboro, Steven Winchel of LaFarge, Larry Winchel (Geneva) of San Antonio, Peggy Winchel (Ronnie Nevsimal) of Elroy, Maureen Miller (John) of Hampton, Casey Winchel (Emeliza) of LaFarge and Anthony Winchel (Brenda) of Hillsboro; and his siblings, Mary Parkhurst (Jim) of Elroy, Myrtle Melvin (Ben) of LaFarge, Connie Brueggeman of Wilton and Frank Winchel of Elroy. He is also survived by twenty-two Grandchildren and sixteen Great Grandchildren.
