He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances (Nee McMahon); his children, Colleen Alex (George), Brian Lavin (Jane), Sheila Gardner (Michael) and Monica Doeden (Tom); his grandchildren, Maggie Latendresse (Ben), Shannon Alex, Catherine Hopkins (Harry), Molly Nelson (John), Charles Lavin, Anna Gardner, Erin Gardner and Meghan Gardner; his great grandchildren, Joanie, Leo Hopkins, Marshall and Isaac Latendresse; his parents, Jim Lavin and Margaret Lavin; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Marion, Leo, Nancy and Jim.
