It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John K. Mortimer (Elm Grove, Wisconsin), born in West Allis, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Mortimer and Marian Mortimer; his brother Mort; his father-in-law Francis Fox; and his sister-in-law Janet Driscoll.

He is survived by: his spouse Joanie; his sons, Ben (Patty) and Pete; his grandsons, Sam and Nathan; his parent-in-law Jean Fox; his sibling-in-law Chris Morrissey (Scott); his nieces and nephews, Jack and Claire; his sister-in-law Sandy Mortimer (Mort); and his nieces and nephews, Lynn (Tim), Mike (Patti), Bridget and Colleen Driscoll. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association appreciated.

“Our most sincere sympathy is the loss of John. I was thrilled to talk with him about 3-4 years ago. We had such a great, long conversation. We reminisced about all the fun we had in high school, especially "Serbian driving". We put on thousands of miles together, just riding around, wasting time but having a blast. I treasure those wonderful memories. When we spoke, he told me of his lung issues and that his time was limited. He spoke very lovingly of his wife and boys. Deepest sympathy”
