He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Johnson and Wanda Johnson (Billeter); his brother-in-law Jack Swedien; and his great-niece Kate Huppert. He is survived by: his girlfriend Ruth Weinberg; his children, Carmen Curti (Bill) and Brent Johnson (Alicia); his stepchildren, Josh Weinberg (Sam), Wendi Winkler and Jenni Bechel (Kurt); his grandchildren, Reece Curti, Blake Curti, Chloe Johnson, Eli Johnson, Anna Johnson, Beni Bechel, Harper Weinberg, Kaydence Davis and Hayden Davis; his former wife Phyllis Johnson; his siblings, Shirley Bostrom (Neil), Bettie Swedien and Sal Larson (Jim); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Rice (Kathy) and John Rice (Jacquie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
