She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Salzman and Elsie Salzman (Kemnitz); her husband Robert L. Anderson May; and her siblings, Earl, Vera Anderson and Mable Moran.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Heineman (Jeff Jung), Lori Hamilton (Bill), Lana Stockwell (Sam) and LuAnn Thoner (Alan); her grandchildren, Scott Hamilton (April), Amanda Dodge (Ryan), Dewey Thoner, Heather Traynor (Matt), Addison and Elin Dodge; her sister Laura Boles; her close friends, Anna Shingledecker and Rita Diercks; and her pet Chuckie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Rhino's foundation to support the fight against cancer and those affected by the disease.
