She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Armbruster and Marie Armbruster (Wirth); her father-in-law John Brickner (Marie); and her sister Diane Brenner (Leroy). She is survived by: her husband Jerome Brickner; her children, Valerie Przybylski Chippewa (Alan), Randy Brickner (Julie) of Ellsworth, Theresa Thom (Dan) of Ellsworth, Joanie Heacox (Robert) of Eau Claire and John Brickner of Ellsworth; her grandchildren, Josh Przybylski (Darla), Tracy Crosby, Brianne Gaard (Ben), Jake Brickner (Shannon), Brandon Thom (Jenna), Travis Thom (Sarah), Emmarie Lokken (Carlton) and Alec Heacox; her great grandchildren, Max, Ellie, Sophie, Camille, Mykenna, Landyn, Matthew, Graciella, Clint, Clare, Lacey Mae and Mabel; and her siblings, David Armbruster, Mary Jane Kees (Dennis) and Patsy Linehan (Steve).
