He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Schneider and Dorothy Schneider (Fletcher); his former wife Judith Ryder (Judy); his son Carl; and his siblings, Mary Louise (Tootie), John, Chuck and Thomas.

He is survived by: his children, Andy (Pam), Anne, Tim and Ellsworth; his wife Corene Besetzny; his siblings, Patty, Carol, Richard, Bonnie, Jean, Wanda, Margaret, Nick, Paul, Kevin and Terry; and his grandchildren, Justin Schneider (Amy), Danielle Hudak (Brock), Gabby Schneider and Tabitha Meyer (Ryan). He is also survived by great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
