It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Halverson (Ellsworth, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene Halverson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her brother Charles; and her husband Robert. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Scott and Shelli; her children, Charles Halverson, Minneapolis, Teresa Olson (Jeff), Ellsworth and Bobbi Brooks (Chris); her grandchildren, Bethany Morton (Kyle), Jordan Stowe (Ken), Anna Olson (Levi How), Selah Brooks-Powell (Josh), Gabriel Brooks, Peter Olson, Grace Linders, Kyle Linders, Dylan Linders, Zachary Halverson, Mykah and Zoe Brooks; and her great grandchild Lydia Jo Morton. She is also survived by numerous cousins and lifelong friends.
As a family, we thank the loving, compassionate, and dedicated caregivers at both Preferred Senior Living in Ellsworth, who became friends, family, and dance partners to Darlene as she made her home on the memory care unit there and at Ellsworth Health Services where she recuperated from hip surgery and Covid in 2020 due to their excellent care.
