He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Edwin Matson and Hazel Louise Matson (Johnson); his wife Karen; his brother William Matson of Sister Bay; his sister-in-law Ruthann Moreno (Louis) of Summerfield, FL; his son John Matson; and his sister-in-law Joan Matson.
