He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Aurelius and Marjorie Aurelius; his granddaughter Marjorie June Aurelius; his in-laws, Orvin and Dorothy Svien; and his niece Krista Heilman.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Svien; his daughters, Lauren Aurelius (Fred Wahlen) and Martha Hutchinson (Adam); his grandson Leon; his siblings, Ann Aurelius and John Aurelius (Maureen); and his siblings-in-law, John Svien, Bill Svien (LeAnne DeTrana), Mary Schiltz (Dan) and Suzanne Wells (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to these organizations which meant a great deal to David: Door County Secret Santa, Stewards of the Redwoods-Pond Farm, Peninsula School of Art- ceramics department, Door Community Auditorium Annex Campaign and the Wisconsin Parkinson Association.
