He was predeceased by: his parents, William King and Evelyn King (Horak); his wife Esther M. Sporleder of Peter's Lutheran Church; and his brother-in-law Jack Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Lloyd King (Carie), Annette King-Hummel (Jon Hummel) and Julie Gruebel (Mark); his grandchildren, Carson, Austin, Grace (Sean), Jackson, Charlotte King, Dylan, Olivia Gruebel, Maxwell (Leah) and Gus Hummel; his great grandchildren, Lachlan and Malachi; and his sister Patricia Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Rifle Association or the Delavan Sportsman Club.
