He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Zimmermann and Betty Zimmermann (Luetzow); his sister Carol Olsen; and his former wife Kathy Zimmermann (Krueger). He is survived by: his wife Mary Zimmermann; his daughters, Vicki Bird (Derrick) and Tracy Krueger; his stepchildren, Lori Lopez, Lissa Ramirez (Mario) and David Easter; his granddaughter Ashlee Glowacki; and his great grandchildren, Evan and Aiden Glowacki. He is also survived by 8 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Wayne's honor to Sugar Creek Lutheran Church, or the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic.
