He is survived by: his son Simon K.; his parents, Hurvey Haskins and Judith Haskins; his siblings, Jennifer Haskins of Elkhorn, WI and Hurvey Haskins IV of SanDiego, CA; and his grandparents, Hurvey and June Haskins of East Troy, WI. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

“I met Simon at a class in Lockport, New York. He shared so much knowledge that time, he was so helpful, so knowledgeable. He will live on in every one who uses his designs to create an embroidery project. I consider myself lucky that we crossed paths and I am thankful for having spent time with him learning from him. Sometime it is hard to understand why we loose someone but he will be in every design he created for us that we embroider.”
