He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gifford and Helen Gifford (Russell); and his brother Thomas Gifford. He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Gifford (Dean Humphrey) and Jaime Gorr (Jeffrey); and his brothers, Alick and Daniel Gifford.
