It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard L. Gilkey of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 85, on March 2, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gilkey and Irma Gilkey (Binkert); and his brother Donald Gilkey. He is survived by: his wife Jean C. Winter of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Deborah Wessberg (Robert), David Gilkey (Elizabeth) and Connie Koerner (David); and his grandchildren, Matt Gilkey (Melody), Brynn Rohde (Justin), Charles Wessberg (Allison), Rachel Gordon (Mark) and Bethany Koerner (Eric Millar). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Elkhorn (415 Devendorf St, Elkhorn, WI 53121). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Ev. Lutheran Church.
