She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Amour and Lillian Amour; her husband John Embling (Jack); her daughters, Deborah Thomas (Steven Thomas), Martha Blevins (Glenn Blevins) and Candace Bangura (Derek Bangura); and her grandchildren, Rebecca, Hannah, Caleb, Luke, Faith and Seth Thomas.
