She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heusser and Erma Heusser (Wendt); and her siblings, Virginia Dorn, Theodore "Ted" and Hilbert "Bud" Heusser.

She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" C. Liner; her children, Vicki Lange (Mike) of Elkhorn, WI., Gary Liner (Kathy) of Elkhorn, WI., Rick Liner (Jill) of Elkhorn, WI. and Jeff Liner (Pam) of Elkhorn, WI.; her grandchildren, Rachel Person (Roger), Melissa Clopper (Christopher), Mandy Rowley (Aaron), Natalie Schroeder (Ryan), Drew Liner, Rochelle Liner and Alan Liner; her stepgrandchildren, Kim Kelnhofer (Jason) and Matt Kutz; and her sister Judy Copeland of Irving, TX.

Memorials may be made in Marlene's name to: Aurora Health Care Foundation or to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
