He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Shilts and Ruby Shilts (Dollarhyde); and his siblings, Gilbert Shilts and Carol Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Gene F. Ryan; his children, Leonard Shilts (Michelle) of Elkhorn, WI and Heather Schwartz (Jeff) of Delavan, WI; his grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, Shannon, Ryan Shilts, Olivia and Sydney Schwartz; and his siblings, Donna Cogar, Marlene Shilts, Albert Shilts, Debra Gimmel and Dennis Shilts (Dawn).
