She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Steen (Larsen) and Leonard Steen; her former husband Martin Zempel; and her spouses, Renee Predovich (Nick), Melba Reuer (Harold) and Sharryn Borowsky (Wally).
She is survived by: her children, Dr. John Zempel (Sue) of St. Louis and Krista Holland (Tom) of Appleton; and her grandchildren, Chris, Joe, Ellie, Will Zempel, Ted, Drew and Matthew Holland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
