He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Wales and Jacqueline Wales (Hohmann); and his brother Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Michelle Garant (Tim), Rachael Wales and Jeff Wales (Nikki); his siblings, Brian Wales (Anne), Tom Wales and Tammy Olson (Mike); his grandchildren, Marcus Wales, Miah Garant, Lexi Garant, Kendall Garant, Matthew Burden, Mason Burden and Miles Burden; and his aunt Lillian Hohmann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and in laws.
