He was predeceased by: his wife Enedina Fonseca (Sandoval); his parents, Agustin Fonseca and Adela Fonseca; and his brother Juan Fonseca. He is survived by: his children, Rafael Fonseca, Jaime Fonseca (Olga), Jorge Fonseca (Tammy), Martin Fonseca (Luz Maria), Carmen Fonseca, Juana Fonseca (Chris), Jesus Fonseca (Gabby) and Ruben Fonseca (Tonya); and his sisters, Maria, Angelina, Hermilinda and Rosa Fonseca. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
